Hello! My name is Jeanette Nguyen, and I am a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my dual master’s degree from Georgetown University where I graduated summa cum laude. Prior to that, I worked as a Registered Nurse at a high-volume labor and delivery unit in Texas, where I cared for many clients, including high-risk pregnancies.

The field of aesthetic medicine is an exciting, growing field, and I am grateful to work as Medical Director at Skin Medex. I believe that through individualized collaboration with our clients, we can achieve optimum results while ensuring our client’s safety as our top priority. I am passionate about providing our clients with high-quality aesthetic services that leave our clients feeling confident in their own skin.

I enjoy spending my leisure time with my family at the beach, hiking, or playing board games at the dinner table.

My name is Lina Van Fossen a Registered Nurse with 27 years of Nursing experience. My journey begin in clinical nursing and evolved into Medical Aesthetics in 2018 under the mentorship of Dr. Melinda Menezes. Since then, I’ve led and grown a successful med spa, trained extensively in advanced techniques, and, in 2013, opened my own Medical Spa on Kauai.
My passion for aesthetic medicine is deeply personal. Growing up, I struggled with self-esteem and often felt like I didn’t quite fit in. Those early experiences left me with a lasting understanding of how our appearance can impact how we feel about ourselves. Over time, I came to realize that true confidence isn’t about changing who we are- it’s about aligning our inner sense of self with how we present ourselves to the world. That’s why I committed to helping patients feel empowered, educated and confident in their own skin. Through a thoughtful, natural approach to aesthetic care, my goal is to enhance- not alter- your unique beauty, so you leave feeling refreshed, authentic and fully yourself.
